Lake Michigan Cycle Trip Day 8: Fin

Today, I cycled the last 42 miles of my trip, from Algoma to Manitowoc down 42, with a little Lakeside Rd thrown in for good measure. I got started by 7:20 (look at me), and was pulling up to my car around 11:30. I took my morning coffee in Kewaunee, at a waterfront Citgo with picnic tables. In another hour, I stopped for a Diet Coke in Two Rivers. Other than that, it was just me and the bike. The weather was great, the roads fresh, the hills gentle, the scenery pleasant, and the day perfect.

Miles cycled today: 42.0
Avg speed: 13.5 mph
Time cycled today: 3:07

Gain: 397 feet

Trip total miles: 477.6
Trip total time in saddle: 41:17
Avg speed for trip: 11.6 mph

Today’s expenditures:
$1.73 coffee
$.83 Diet Coke
TOTAL: $2.56
